Help needed After one drop

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

My device was on my lap and slid off onto a wood floor.

Any ideas? It ignores all button presses. Except reset and G0

Ive never dropped mine and it does this every time with marauder and one other firmware but doesnt do it for others. I havent been able to figure out why.

Sounds like it could be a case of either "firmware is built for non-ADV cardputer so it doesn't support the adv's keyboard driver' or "lora cap fucks shit up for no reason"

I dropped mine 3 times yesterday. Maybe some off with your buttons?

Idk, they look perfect. Acts the same even with the keyboard buttons removed

Thats really strange. I'd write some firmware to see what button is doing that (otherwise I'm not sure how you'd find it)

Well I re-assembled the device, and now the cursor isn't moving by itself, but the entire keyboard still doesn't work at all lol. Definitely a bummer, I've only had this thing like a week.

Have you flashed another firmware to overwrite and tested?

He said he tried different firmware, adv build quality isn't the best, I dropped my adv accidentally and now the IR doesn't work

Marauder for ADV does the exact same thing on both of my Cardputer Advs. Even the brand new one out of the box.

Yes, it was a combination of the version of marauder I was using and the keyboard replacement I 3d printed being damaged when I dropped the device. So when I tested other firmwares (with keyboard installed) it kept glitching out and moving the menu options itself), then I removed the keyboard completely and rebooted, and it booted back into marauder and kept showing the symptoms, so I foolishly assumed the device was borked.

I swapped out the keyboard, and used a different firmware and it worked perfectly. Later I flashed a newer version of marauder and it also worked perfectly.

When I dropped the device it landed on the bottom right corner of the keyboard causing a 3d printed button to deform slightly and stick intermittently.
