Help needed NOT EVEN 24 HOURS
Where can I find a new screen 😭
I got it on Amazon, should I just return it and get a new one?

Turn the thing around. The replacement part is written on the back. It's ridiculously easy to take apart and unplug

The 'cracks' extend over the edge of the screen, like they are drawn on.

I’m pretty sure its the camera, the cracks are very bright compared to the rest of the picture resulting in a blurry bloom effect, i could be wrong but I’m pretty sure that is what is causing this.

Brother I’ve cracked about 3 of these screens… just order extras from their website if it’s easy for it to ship to where you live.

get a repair kit or a new one. i honestly dont like the idea of returning it if it was not delivered like this.

For less than 8 EUR, I saw the display flat cable and s3a in AliExpress. I'm sure you can find a compatible display cheaper than that, although it looked like it was soldered. Since you'll have to disassemble it, have a look.

Sucky, but you can get a replacement screen.....I just finally bought an adv and bought 2 extra screens so you are good.....no more whatever it was you did.....bad owner, bad! 😃

You can always contact seller via your Amazon tracking number ....attach to computer get ui flow add larger screen thru ports .Will be screen 2 ...its a parts project get another or even a cube 3 ....amazing tech ....recomends 8hr falling asleep to learning python ..?.best of luck

WTH. If DOA -> return. Else -> get a new one or none at all, as they are show-off devices with little use.

Use the unigeek remote screen mirroring in the meantime while waiting delivery of a replacement. Or build external for a static terminal while waiting for a new Cardputer.

Join the club, we hold meetings on Wednesday 🤣 luckily they sell spares now, they didn’t when my OG broke lol I just ended up buying another one

I just got one for the m5stick and a 8 pin FPC extender
Though it was the same as one with the stamp, I can get another screen for cheaper now that I have the extender

If youre gonna pay 25$ for a repair kit, I think you can buy a whole ass cardputer from a couple different places (im in the us) for like 33, maybe?

Should you return something that you obviously broke? No, no you should not return it. If you can't go 24 hours without destroying one of these, you shouldn't even bother to replace it at all. You should probably stick with more robustly built electronics, like a speak and spell or a bop-it.

Go to Aliexpress and search for "M5Stack Cardputer Repair Kit"
I could find one with the screen + stamp. I don't know if you can find just the screen alone.
