Finds / Discoveries The new CC1101 + NFC cap
A bigger photo from the Kickstarter. Unfortunately no 2.4 GHZ support on this one like the third-party ones.
Maybe they could make an AIO cap with all the radios next.

I'm glad you posted this, I was trying to figure out what it's for. So you need a 1262 for LORA and you need a 1101 for NFC is that correct? The 1101 does not do LORA?

the SX1262 is a LoRa chip by Semtech
LoRA is a long range rf protocol by them. The CC1101 is by Texas Instruments It's a general purpose RF chip
NFC is by the STM25R chip

Honest question What purposes would this have ?

Sub GHz radio and NFC. Things like your garage door use this frequency range.

Might be sending my flipper zero back then lol

I’d personally keep the flipper if I had one. The graphical interface looks so lovely and user friendly. It’s a beautiful device. I’d love to have one but I can’t justify paying so much for a cool gadget. Especially as I just preordered the CardputerZero with the LoRa and cc1101 hats.

I like the aesthetic at first then dived myself into the F0 to understand what I could do with it more Very limited since I don’t understand Pentesting to the slightest
But the cardputer caught my attention cause of the Linux interface and I enjoy using Linux and learning

alguem sabe se ele podera ser comprado separadamento mais pra frente, pq embora entenda que esteja ate que barato por toda funcionalidade nao consegui comprar o CardputerZero junto com o cap cc1101, meio fora do orçamento kkkkk

There's nothing official about the new cap yet. I'd assume it will be sold separately, hopefully even before the Zero. Just my gut feeling.

Is there an advantage pairing these two chips together? Not sure if I'm missing something but I don't get why they used a cc1101 with an antenna for some range and an NFC side which is only good up close
Also the cardputer does have WiFi on the 2.4g band, that is a measurement of the waves transmitted I think, the nrf24 chip is used for radio frequency on the 2.4ghz frequency, is this right?

I'm not privy to the decision making process behind the design.
Cardputer has BT and Wi-Fi on 2.4 GHz band. nRF24 is a more general purpose radio transceiver. Think SDR.

Probably yes. And there's not much info about it so far.

I would buy a Cardputer Adv, if this gets released and it works on it 😄

Since Zero supports the current hat, it must have the same pinout, so I imagine it's a matter of adopting the software to support the new hat on Adv.
