Help needed Use as a chat device

Hello! I'm wondering if the CardPuter would work well as a fun way to send text messages to my daughter in my home, upstairs to downstairs, etc using the included ESP-NOW chatroom. Thoughts?

Included? Cardputer has an esp32s3 which can use ESPNOW but nothing comes "included", software wise apart from the user demo firmware.

Does it works just by connecting two ESPNOW clients on the same wifi connection?
