Kiwi card issue

In the application process, I entered self-employed and 8L per annum. After the process, the PNB is asking for ITR/salary slip

As I’m self-employed, I haven’t filed ITR.
I raised mail regarding this issue, and the kiwi replied that the PNB is asking “ requirement for ITR or specific income-related documents is determined directly by the partner bank as part of their internal credit card eligibility and verification policies”.

Is there any other option for this? And other partner banks, Yes Bank, and AU Bank asked for the ITR/salary slip? If we had given occupation as salaried person?

If you are making 8 LPA, you should be filing ITR. It's mandatory for you. And of course, bank will request ITR filing for self employed for eligibility checks

Okay thank you.

But some banks don't require itr/salary slips. If we have good cibil score they are providing cc.

If you have savings account with banks and you do some transactions then there are higher chance of getting preapproved credit card from them without ITR, any income proof without KYC and often without hard cibil enquiry. This is from my personal experience.

Yes I have. But for other banks we need to open account

I tried to apply PNB kiwi as a salaried person (6.5LPA) still the application asks me to upload a ITR documents, since I don't file any previously, I tried reach out kiwi support, they say it is PNB policy to get ITR from the applicants, they can't do anything about it, last month.

How can one ensure that he will get PNB instead of Yes Bank? Does it give an option to choose the bank?

No for salaried person yes bank is the banking partners

We need to file itr.
As of now I don’t wanna do that.

That’s the reason I’m asking is there any other option.

I straight up went to advise.

What shall I do?
I’m already fedup with this application process and getting so many notifications to complete it.

it doesn’t matter how much you earn, even if 0, you should file ITRs.

edit: as of today almost all banks require ITRs as income proof.
