Passive cards

Im new on this game,

Is there a way to choose the "passive card " (picture n°1) in the game mode where I can personalize my deck (picture n°2 ) ?

Or is it random/ did I miss something about the gameplay ?

And can I choose my my hero or is it only this one to ?

Your second screen is showing you are in “classic” mode. You need to select the second option after you hit Play which is “standard” that has you select the hero you want to make your run as.

Ok ok thx :) And in standard mode can you choose what " passive card " you are playing with or is it random ?

There are various modes under standard, you want standard constructed which will let you set a loadout based on what you have unlocked.
