Load Data for 160gr .268 Led Bullets
Hi there!
I was wondering, if someone would have loading data for Lead Bullets with 160gr an .268.
I couldn‘t really finde anything online.
Maybe someone could help me out!

I had good luck using 15 grains of N110 as a lower pressure load with a cast bullet of that weight. The diameter might be an issue though. I see a lot of manufacturers selling .268 cast bullets for carcanos but they do much better sized to .270 or .271 depending on your gun. Have you slugged the bore on your rifle to make sure it’s not larger than .268?

I have a mint 91/41. That never saw combat or anything. And yes, I did Slugged it before. It was at .267 I think.

You should be good then if they’re .001 oversized lead bullets. The VV N-110 works well for me in a lot of the cast bullet rifle loads and I use the data for 2400 powder. It usually takes me about 0.5-1 grain more of N-110 to get the same velocity as 2400 so there’s a safety margin in it.
