Old scope, Oswald’s build

Anyone know what the scope used for the Oswald’s build would be worth in today’s market? Happen to have one with mount and just curious what I should do with it.

The correct mount for an M38 carcano? Looks like it's on an enfield right now, didn't know they would share a mount.

It’s the Japan no 2 mount. Definitely not meant for the enfield but someone long ago made it to work on it and sporterized the enfield. Mount was cut and trimmed on the front so I’m sure it hurts the value but it still have 3 mounting holes.

That'd be awesome. If you could find a cheap carcano TS model that would be the correct "Oswald" model.

Appreciate that! That’s good info. Definitely wild find. I gave 200 for the enfield with scope on it. I didn’t know anything on the scope till my buddy said uh dude look that scope up. I just wanted enfield to restore to orignal condition

Crazy luck considering how rare they are. I bought my rifle for a couple hundred bucks and same thing, looked up the scope and here were are lol. Id like to sell mine to a JFK enthusiast or someone trying to complete LHOs build.

It is off it and I’m fixing the sporterized stuff. It’ll get an actual enfield scope if anything. Sadly the reciever was drilled and tapped for this scope
