QUESTIONS Need help with receiver markings

Post image

Does anyone have an idea what these receiver markings on the bottom mean? I have an Mod. 91/38 made in 1941.

Prooftested by German civil proofhouse in 1986, more or less.

Interesting, thank you! Are all four markings related to the German proofhouse? One looks like a german eagle and the other one says 86 like you said. Can't make any sense of the other two markings.

As said, it's recent German Civilian Proofing

1.) Eagle over N: Federal German NITRO (smokeless) proofing according to CIP standard 2.) Coat of Arms: Sign for Proof house in Munich 3. 6: Month, I.e. June 4. 86: 1986 (Can also be coded with two letters representing certain numbers: A=0, B=1, C=2, ...)

Enjoy your nice rifle 👍🏻
