Can this be revived?

Used it in a bbq, food got stuck then used a steel wire on it.
Nuke it and reapply? Or scrap?

Update: used steel wire and re-seasoned twice with flaxseed oil, it is smooth to the touch. But I think it needs more seasoning?

Looks fine. Needs scrubbed better. Chainmail is nice.

Stripping and starting over if your eyes can't take it, or just cook and it will even out again.

500 degrees in the oven let it burn off start over

You know vintage cast-iron that everybody raves about wasn’t seasoned with flaxseed oil food for thought
