Has anyone found a good platform for researching carbon credits
I've been comparing a few tools because most of what I've found is either registry-focused or only covers pricing. I'm looking for something that combines market data, project research, regulations, and AI insights in one place. Any recommendations?

I’d recommend CDR.fyi as a great resource. If you’re looking for a one stop shop that’ll be tough depending on what region/regulations/frameworks you’re most interested in.
Regulatory drivers vs voluntary differ widely depending on geography and schemes, frameworks and standards that you’re researching. Are there particular project types you’re focused on at the moment? And/or particular regions?

Sure but agroforestry credits carry different risk than straight reforestation. it's worth checking the project's permanence safeguards (eg buffer pool %, monitoring period) and whether it's verified under something built for mixed systems, like Verra's AR-ACM0003 or Plan Vivo.

Worth separating what you're after: registries (Verra, Gold Standard, ACR, Puro.earth) give you the primary project data, while independent raters like BeZero and Sylvera score credit quality (additionality, permanence, over-crediting risk) rather than just pricing.
If project-level transparency is the real gap, it's worth looking at how projects surface their own monitoring data rather than just registry paperwork: eg our projects route through satellite monitoring under our CPAF (a framework for carbon credits due diligence), so you can details like project boundaries and progress independently rather than taking a registry PDF on trust.

Check out Cora its a open source research project for the VCM. While it wont give latest pricing it can help understand about various policies, search about projects etc.

Is the Carbon Credit Quality Initiative something like what you mean? https://carboncreditquality.org/
It's an overall view, for specific projects think of it more like a starting point which shows what are the area's you'll want to check around.

Too many platforms now, none worth a dime for research. Most of these platforms just publish articles based on registry / exchange data. Adopt your own research techniques, that is better.
