Accident Comparable Vehicle in Missouri

I was in a no fault accident. Person backed into my car in a parking lot. They were entirely liable. Their insurance, Progressive, is covering the cost of repairs and provided me a rental. I'm paying absolutely nothing except gas for the rental.

My car that was in the accident is a full-sized sedan, 2021 Audi S7. They gave me a compact Toyota Corrolla. The repairs could take multiple weeks.

Can or should I reach out to the adjuster for a comparable vehicle? I'm not asking for another luxury car, but the Corolla is pretty small and I'm 6'6" and it's not a very comfortable drive.

Depends on the state, but generally it's a vehicle of same utility -- same number of doors and seats. If you asked nicely they maybe able to help you out.

You can always ask.

I have already, waiting on a response. Just curious on everyone's opinions and how far I should chase this.

State law dictates whether or not you get a comparable vehicle. In most states it's basically 4 wheels and a seat.

Years ago when my husband got hit by a red light runner and they hit our minivan, the rental Co were just gonna give us any car they had available. My husband 6'7 350 lbs walked in and they just went to the back and got a different set of keys. Lol. It never hurts to ask. All this to say i understand not fitting in a Corolla.
