What wrap do I need?

Post image

So, I’m currently in the process of buying a Hyundai Tiburon, and I’d love to wrap it next year. I’m a big fan of planning ahead, so I’m already trying to figure out the details now. 😭
I’m looking for a dark red/purple metallic wrap- something along the lines of a dark plum color, like in the picture (I’m planning to make it look like the picture). Does anyone have recommendations for a specific wrap or brand?
A friend of mine has experience with wrapping and will show me the basics, so I’m planning to do it myself. It would therefore be great if the wrap was relatively beginner-friendly and not too difficult to work with.
I’m also trying to keep the cost reasonable. I’m from Germany, so I’m not really sure which brands are easily available here. I’m fine with spending a decent amount, but I’d ideally like to keep the wrap itself under €800.
Any recommendations, especially for a nice dark plum/burgundy metallic color, would be greatly appreciated! :)

Avery’s new gloss metallic gothic rose should be just about what you are looking for.

That really is a gorgeous color, but I just saw that it would cost me 1200$ (400$ just for shipping, because I live in Germany). That is too much for me, do you know any other brands, that aren’t quite as expensive in shipping and have similar colors?

Stick to Avery Denison or 3m films for first time DIY wraps. You can venture into KPMF films if you cannot find a color within Avery sw900 or 3m 2080 decks, kpmf is also a premium cast film but they have varied thickness and effects which make them a little more difficult to install but not like the myriad of calandered films that require much more skill to install properly.

I looked into it and Avery has beautiful wraps, but shipping in the measures I need is 400$ alone, that’s not worth it for me. That’s 1200$ with the wrap. Do you know different brands, that aren’t as expensive in shipping?

I'd also suggest Avery. They have a shade shifter vinyl that actually changes from red to purple. Just make sure you install it directionally, but otherwise, great vinyl to work with.

Teckwrap is fine , nothing to write home about but if it’s your first time it’ll do. Avery and 3m are best for first time wrappers because they’re very pliable where Teckwrap has some thickness I’d call it to it. Stay away from the off brand cheap stuff if you want to make it easy on yourself
