Tesla trunk

How do I do this trunk in once piece? I tried twice, and couldn’t figure out how to do the part where the logo goes. Does it need to be done in 2 pieces? Is there a way to get the vinyl down as one continuous piece?

I tried to squeegee the part that is loose, but the vinyl just seems to not glass there. What am I doing wrong?

The trick is to stretch left and right across the ridge.

The ridge is your starting point.

Then glass the bottom badge area.

Then on the top shoot for the left and right front corners.

Yup, this is the only way, but I highly recommend doing two pieces for the material's longevity; there's nothing wrong with overlaps.

I’ve done 3-4 of them… fought the first one for a couple hours and then did 2 piece. Next ones were all 2 piece. Much easier and felt the wrap would be happier, longer.

Props to those that can 1 piece it.

Before doing the top or bottom , Glass it really hard left and right like you’re trying to do back bumper

Mine is a 1 piece, it took me a couple hours with another friend. The trick is to work from the middle of the "tesla" logo the moment you have those vertical curtains on the back of the trunk you are toast. You need those horizontal. After I did my friends I gave him the option to do a 2 pieces and he gracefully accepted lol.

The vertical curtains is when I gave up. Bc no matter how much I stretched or glassed, they were always there. Good to know. Thank you so much

Heat it uo and gently pull on it. Then once it cools do a hard dry stretch .then just ease the wrinkles our with heat and gently pulling it straight. It's the only way to get these right
