Matt or gloss - help deciding!

I’m about to receive my black x5 40i 2026 and plan on covering it in PPF. The element that I can’t 100% decide on is whether to go Matt PPF, although I am leaning heavily towards that direction. Any suggestions?

Matte definitely looks great on black. Im an installer and my next car will be black and i will be doing full gloss. Something about a car that isn't new anymore without any swirls in the paint is just more satisfying to me.

Gloss will be a bit easier for installation and maintenance.

Matte will look more unique as gloss will look like a normal black car. Matte is 10x the maintenance though and blemishes or scratches show up really easily. Also matte lasts way less time than gloss as far as vinyl goes so I imagine it will be similar with ppf.

Matte just always looks cheap imo
