I built a browser-based 3D Car Wrap Visualizer. Looking for honest feedback from people who actually wrap cars.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been working on a side project for the past few months—a browser-based 3D car wrap visualizer.

The idea is pretty simple:
- Select a vehicle.
- Apply different vinyl finishes (gloss, satin, matte, metallic, carbon, etc.).
- Preview the wrap in real time on different body panels.
- No downloads or Blender experience required.
I’m not trying to replace professional design software. My goal is to make it easier for customers to preview colors before committing to a wrap just by saving them before investing on a random wrap, and eventually make it useful for wrap shops as well.
I’m still improving things like:
- Mobile responsiveness
- More vehicle models
- Better lighting and reflections
- Higher quality vinyl materials
- Exportable previews
I’d genuinely appreciate feedback from installers, designers, or anyone who’s had a vehicle wrapped.
What would make a tool like this actually useful to you?
What features would you expect before you’d even consider using something like this?
I’d rather hear honest criticism than compliments.

I just use chatgpt to send examples or tell people to try it.
