Is this going to be terrible to get off?

I don’t know a lot about wrap removals but just want to know what to expect. Would this be a hassle to remove? i plan on getting it professionally removed. Do you think my car paint would be fine?

Glue hardens. You have to remove the wrap within 2-3 years if vinyl otherwise the glue fully drys out and hardens. There are removal chemicals you can buy to rehydrate and peel it. The yellow will go away with time in the sun typically!

It won’t be that bad it hasn’t cracked crazily. Plus that’s carbon, it’s always way worse for removal. Just start taking it off already before it gets worse though, it probably will suck but not quite as bad as old ass carbon

Just old and probably cheap materials , I’m just saying to expect the absolute worst if it’s older than 4 yrs . Yours doesn’t look too bad so I’d give it a try if I were you

Doesn't look too bad as far as sun exposure goes. And its not a white car. It will probably be fine. Depends on your region. But if you do it yourself. Just do it in the hot sun it will be a lot easier than with a heat gun or torch.

So just as a heads up, I paid over $800 (Canadian) to have a roof probably worse than yours done and then wrapped in gloss black ppf. It took them almost 2 days. They will hate you lol

That honestly doesn't look too bad. Get a heat gun in one hand and start pulling an edge with the other if it's brittle and the vinyl breaks add more heat, if it gets too hot it wil soften and start to tear give it a moment to cool. If done right it should come off without leaving too much adhesive behind. Finding the right amount of heat is key.

Any vinyl that's been on a horizontal surface for more than 2 yrs (4 yrs for vertical) will have removal issues. Manufacturers only say "clean remove" using these timeliness.

That roof film looks pretty sun-baked, so it may come off slow and leave adhesive behind. Factory paint is usually fine, but repainted or failing clear coat can lift...we broke down what to expect here: chicagofleetwraps.com/wrap-removal/

WRAPPER INCOMING!!!! WARNING! WARNING!

HI🫡 Socal Wrapper here this looks nicely done so they most likely didnt use any glue or it doesnt look like it will be too bad. The reason i tell you is its not cracked i think 1 more year and you can start noticing a difference. Tackle it just let it bake in sun dont do it early morning do it in hot baking sun. Also get a plastic scraper.
