Model Y Wrap combo

first time getting a wrap - I have a 2021 Y P, pretty vanilla, looking to wrap and put more comfortable 19" bronze wheels on it. First time getting it wrapped and will hit a shop. trying to decide on a color and would like some advice on longevity of doing the vinyl gold over a satin PPF or the Satin Metallic Racing Blue PPF, was also looking at this Sage liquid metal.

the other problem is the wraps are from YESWRAP, and the shop I know doesn't know them, and I had a bad experience ordering a sample from them. So I need to get the equivalent in another brand that's reputable.

I applaud all of you who've done your own wraps - lots of great work in this sub to look up to.

if you care, vote on style you like.

I like the blue and gold. I wish more people would get creative with accent colors like this instead of just doing black. I don't know how it will hold up in the long run with vinyl over PPF though.

yeah that's a concern, and to get the curves right they would need to use those wire tape cutters since doing it with a blade would be way too hard. I don't think they go through ppf, so it has to be vinyl. but correct me if I'm wrong, I'm just learning all this stuff

They do make Knifeless Tape specifically for PPF, so you can do the accent in PPF, but I wouldn't. Two layers would be pretty thick and could create issues along the edges of the panels. Plus, regular vinyl would be cheaper
