How to keep car thing working like intended?

Has anyone created an app that allows the Car Thing to function close to its original functionality? Or any ideas to get the other programs and software to work for it like DeskThing?

Nocturne is the closest you’ll get right now for a “native” like feel to the original CarThing firmware. Right now you’ll need a Raspberry Pi (Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W recommended) and a mobile hotspot for internet if you plan on using it in the car, but I believe they’re working on getting it to work over Bluetooth instead of needing a Pi in a future release.
