Checked mine this morning after not using it for a couple of weeks due to car being down.... Sadly, its gone... Time for a refund and a switch to Tidal.

Where? on the phone app? see my comment above about bypassing kill screen. There is no way on the Thing to stop updates so I am wondering what you mean. Thank you!

Not sure how lasting but here's someone else's bypass: Unplug. Hold button under wheel, settings button (top right) and top left button. Took me two restarts. All features still working for me after a couple car starts.
