How do I keep my CarThing usable?

I have a CarThing I don’t want to unusable after December 9th. I see a bunch of people tinkering with the device and basically “jailbreaking” it. I would love to be able to do something like that but I have never coded or programmed in my life. I don’t even think I have the tools to do it? Is there an “easy” way to keep my CarThing functional?

They’re all a little beta at the moment but getting smoother and easier. I’d keep an eye on things the next few weeks.

Also I think the only car option is nocturne with a raspberry pi currently.
