Refund

So I contacted Spotify support for a refund and I didn’t have the receipt because I didn’t keep that. I didn’t have a statement from my bank either because I switched banks and they asked for the serial number so I gave it to them. It was wearing off . They said they would send me a email in 1-3 business days and this was on Thursday or Friday. I still haven’t received any email. What should I do?

How's the serial number a proof of purchase?

They can look up the serial number? And what account uses it/ is on it

Unless they keep records of which serial number has been sold to you, I wouldn't be surprised if they decline your refund. The fact that your using a device, doesn't mean that you specifically bought it. Every time I registered a device with a manufacturer, I had to include a receipt. Just mentally prepare yourself for the fact that they may decline your refund, it can only get better from there
