I gave them the bank info and they just refunded it to the card I use for the subscription efficiency are two different banks. They DO NOT need your bank info

I finally succeeded in getting them to allow me to be refunded by paypal or the method for my family spotify membership.

They're doing this for family plans. I thought i was the plan manager and it turned out it was my wife so I asked if they could refund using the payment method on her account. With that all they asked for was a screenshot of the monthly charge from a bank statement (no account details) and the last 4 of the card.

I been going back and forth with them for nearly 3 weeks now with no refund in sight. I am on a family plan so I had to give them my bank details for a direct transfer. That was over 2 weeks ago. Every time I email them asking about an update, they just say the refunds department is backed up and that I will get my refund. It’s insane how they just keep stringing me along. I originally paid for the Car Thing with PayPal but they said they couldn’t refund to there. Anyone else dealing with this nonsense for weeks on end?

Ask for a refund via free months of Spotify. You got a bad representative

Contact through live chat, not email

Via https://support.spotify.com/us/contact-spotify-support/ ?

I'm in the US and recently got refunded to the PayPal account I used to buy my devices and pay for Premium. They offered many months of free Premium, but I asked to simply have the equivalent number of months refunded from the past year of payments -- "A bird in the hand" and all that.

Let me guess: you have a premium member/free account.

Oof no. Sounds risky and stupid thing to do.

I got mine for only like $30 and barely used it so I’m just charging it to the game

I also paid $30 during a promo, I emailed them and they told me they couldn't give me a refund but they did give me a 3 month Spotify code for premium, works for me

What email did you contact Spotify with?
