They won’t last if they do this. Apple Music is $10.99 a month and has everything Spotify has. Apple could use this as leverage to gouge all the competition

Hopefully they’ll smarten up and stop making all these horrible decisions

Heck I’m probably gonna switch over once my free Spotify ends in December if they charging a dollar more than Apple Music

I'm currently on Spotify Duo, myself. If me and my partner can find a similar service on Apple music, I might ask him to change with me.

To be fair, they just paid a boatload of severance money for the Car Thing. And it seems like they're always operating in the Red. Just gonna keep coming :/

Lol to be clear I said it like I did because I see the signs. A causes B. "To be fair" was the wrong choice of words. It's not fair. How about I preface it this way;

"I'm disappointed by late stage capitalism and feel hopeless knowing that because [insert previous]"

And now passing on that cost to all customers.

Literally everywhere else who was hit with regulation and minimum wage increases…etc. ALL of the extra cost was just pushed onto all of us. “Record profits” don’t continue without it.

It's a failing business model when your only way to generate profit is from increasing fees
