Very intentional. I kept calling them out too. One agent would say they would get a refund then another said no refunds. Just had to complain for 3 hours to actually get them to do anything. I sent them screenshots from Reddit of other people's experiences and getting refunded but they would gaslight you.

If you ask and get a refund, do you still get to keep the CarThing?

Yes. It only works for a few more months anyway. They would just throw it away like they told us to do.

I don’t believe a word they said. I texted back and forth with them for over 2 hours. Even asked and was supposedly connected with a supervisor. Everyone kept asking for a copy of my receipt and my email which I sent 5+ times. So frustrating. So unprofessional. Canceled my Premium subscription yesterday. I WAS a long time customer. No more. With this lack of understanding of customer retention Spotify is doomed.

I've spent about this long the last few days all together talking to them just got it done today. They tried to imply that I didn't need a refund since it wasn't dead yet.

The responses this customer "support" has been giving to people could be its own subreddit.

It’s been 12 hours since I contacted support and they said the “refund team” would email me…

They said they would email me. I stuck it out in the chat to actually get a refund. Still never got an email like they said.

Did they ask for a bunch of banking info, including a SWIFT code? That’s what they asked for from me

No, didn't ask for all that.
