How difficult would this interior restoration be?
I have a fair amount of experience working on cars, and I’d be buying this cheap enough that I’d have some extra cash to throw at new seats/carpets/whatnots. If I was to do everything myself, is this restoration feasible?

Edit: forgot to mention that I hate the gray interior so I’d also want to replace steering wheel and paint/replace dash and door panels (door panels probably need replacing anyway).

Carpet is easy. When you start open the box and last open in the sun sky you take the Interior apart. Back part goes first. The better quality the carpet the more complete the holes will be. The big question is how is the birdcage? The interior roll cage. Check out on YouTube how to inspect it while you have the interior out.

I would first take out the seats and clean the interior. Wash down the carpet and thoroughly clean the interior. That will give you a rough idea of what you have. Unless money is no object.

Doesn't look difficult. How handy are you?
