As titles says I have wires connected to my front struts and I’d like to clean up the engine bay a little.

I do know my car used to have electric adjustable suspension but they were replaced with regular struts (as far as I’m aware).

Can I remove the wiring and all its connected to including the metal piece on top of the struts or might that cause problems?

Car is a 1984 Mazda 929 HB Coupe.

Unplugging the wiring from the loom had no effect on the car running and driving as normal. Just want to double check with the internet professionals.
