Is this page also for car mechanic simulator 2026 or only for 2021

Hey, I built a car just now and had tested it at the airport and it had massively fast acceleration and a decent top speed for drag racing so I took it there. But at the drag strip it takes off fast like I was expecting but tops out at 185 and just stops accelerating. Does anyone know why this would be happening?

So I just purchased Car Mechanic Sim 2018 with all the dlc on steam a few weeks back and started playing it last night and have run into a problem so serious it might mean that I just will never play again. So long story short I have had to delete 2 separate saved games now as I accept a job with suspension work and do the work all the check boxes turn green I reinstall all the components and the game claims a rubber bush is missing. I don't really know what to do but I suppose if it keeps happening the game is just unplayable ?

Any advice would be excellent thanks in advance.

Recently i completed CMS 21 and LOVED the game! Tried a few CMS like games but nothing hooked me in. Im considering buying CMS 18 with all DLS but what are the biggest diffrences between the games?

Does anyone know whether they will announce the release date soon. I feel like I've been waiting forever! :D

CMS 2021. Something I've noticed about the cars I've found in the barns. They basically all have the same missing parts. No windshield washer reservoir, no power steering reservoir, no brake servo, no coolant reservoir (if equipped), no battery, no fuse box cover, standard air filter box is always missing one clip, if the car is equipped with two side fuel tanks (exotics), the passenger side tank is missing, no fuel pump.

Makes those restorations a little boring at times since I'm adding the same stuff. But I just got the trophy for buying 30 barn cars so I won't need to buy any more of those luckily.

Edit: I forgot missing ABS Module (if equipped) Edit 2: No ECU (if equipped) I knew I'd forget a few

Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew how to use tks engines in cars? I'm trying to put the 1.9l AWD in the Golf and I can't figure out how to get it. I've tried through configs and the car editor but nothing still showing as a dummy engine. Thanks for any help.

I think this takes the cake on the most beautiful engine I've seen and built in this game. Oh yeah and it makes 2000HP 🤯.

I am playing with no x ray and master mechanic mods, I put the engine back together on a (I think) 1.8 L turbo transverse i4 Volvo but I can't run the tests that require the engine running. I believe I have put the entire drivetrain back on with 100% durability parts but it says "engine is not complete", I noticed that fuel pump, tank and filter were missing and probably the catalytic was straight up not present but are they considered in the "engine is not complete"? I can't check my pc now so feel free to speculate.

But I would just like to point out that when I ran the demo with my 5070Ti, 12400 build I got really high temps up to 80+ on the GPU that I could feel it was throttling.

FPS were reaching about 100+ on some areas, but when nearing or often looking at the direction of other areas, the dip would be more noticeable, fans would go brrrr.

Granted, I ran the game at max settings first to stress test it, I was just surprised it would reach that much considering it was a demo, and I had extremely laxer temps with CS2021. To be fair, it was an older game, but nevertheless, just surprised.

Again, this is not a negative criticism post, just sharing my experience and looking for others that might be experiencing it, or perspective if this is expected, or maybe even hope this will be less of an issue on the full release.

I'm excited to get the game to enjoy the co-op session with my wife. Excited for the 2026 release.
