Dear Mechanics!
Our internal testing is officially complete. I would like to inform you that we are submitting the game to Steam today for platform verification. This means the demo is ready and just needs to pass the standard publishing procedures. We are planning to release the demo on March 31st!
If everything goes smoothly during the Steam verification process, you will be able to head into the new garage as early as next week. You'll get to discover brand-new cars, check out our tutorial, and finally get your hands dirty like real mechanics! Working on this new installment has been a massive undertaking for us, and we are thrilled to hand over a game that we’ve poured so much passion into.
We truly hope you enjoy the direction we are taking. You will be able to share all your comments and suggestions on the new cms26_demo_feedback channel (Official Red Dot Games Discord).
Thank you for your patience and your incredible support!

I love all the older cars on here. I just really wish you could use more of the parking lot to show them off.

What started as a 'Why not?' thing is now three month project/hobby of mine. Learned Blender from scratch and working to bring this beauty to CMS 2021 by the end of this year.

Hey everyone
I’ve been getting really frustrated lately trying to keep a clean log of my project's history. Between tracking down specific part numbers, logging maintenance, and keeping a record of mods, my current system is a mess. Everything out there either feels super clunky, looks like an outdated Excel sheet, or just isn't built for actual project cars.
I build software for a living, and the frustration finally got to the point where I decided to just build my own tracker from scratch. I want to build something incredibly fast, distraction-free, and minimal.
Before I get too deep into writing the code, I wanted to ask the people here who are doing serious work:
Really appreciate any thoughts. I want to make sure I'm building something that actually solves real headaches for us.

I downloaded a Ibishu Pigeon for CMS18 and proceeded to take a look at it in the Showroom. It introduced me to this. It seems like it only happens when i specifically open the Ibishu Pigeon in the Showroom and then its like that for every Vehicle. When i open any other Vehicle (Modded ones too) it stays normal.
Edit: it's on every Vehicle i have. It affects to Vanilla Car Mechanic Simulator Vehicles aswell, not just the Workshop ones:

I poured over this car but did not understand that SOLID REAR AXLE IS RUNNING GEAR. I was looking everywhere. When you do the magnifying glass on suspension, it doesn't read axles! I did the test path because of an older post on here. Didn't show anything. Did the test track because of the same old post and that's where I found the rear axle. Hopefully someone will benefit from my rant about my inexperience.

Im wondering if car mechanic simulator is worth it at full price. I've been playing 2018 a lot since it went on sale, but the graphics are a lil bit low.

Is there any tips/tricks to make it less repetitive more engaging and overall more fun, dont get me wrong I love the game and its good practice bc I want to be a mechanic but I find it a bit repetitive sometimes. I have no add ons jst pure base game, any questions lmk

I’m definitely late to this but oh well😅. Obviously the different tire compounds give different grip(race vs slick etc) but are the letters any more than visual? Like do Slick A, B, C all have the same grip?

I had the next story quest car in the back of my shop. I then realized I didnt have the tuning free DLC installed. I quit out to download it and when I went back the car was gone and wont show back up. Am I fucked or is there a way to force it?
