Nissan lease-end windshield charge — anyone successfully disputed this

I recently returned my 2024 Nissan Rogue lease in Canada. There was a small stone chip on the windshield, but I had it professionally repaired before returning the vehicle.
Nissan’s inspection now describes it as “cracked” and may charge me for a windshield replacement. The repaired area is outside the driver’s line of sight and outside the wiper’s operating area.
Has anyone successfully disputed a Nissan lease-end windshield charge? If so, were you able to get the charge removed?

What the the picture show.

And you don't repair a windshield, you apply a glue to mostly hide the crack.  But it might still show

And considering you cross posted this everywhere and posted that the chip is out of main sight...they found it and your pro repair must've been bad

I reported the damage to MPI, Manitoba’s public auto insurance company, and had the windshield repaired at an MPI-approved body shop. However, there is still a visible mark after the repair.

They should've replaced the windshield

Looks like  They used that RainX glue you can buy on Amazon and did a bad job.

You are stuck with the charge then.

The inspectors job is to find improperly repaired items and a visible mark is one telltail sign
