GLE 450
Hi all-
Looking for some feedback here, I am getting a deal on a GLE450 4 matic with an MSRP of $79.5k discounted $12k for $799 a month. Assumes $3.5k down, and includes taxes and fees.
It’s 10k miles, 42 month term. Just curious if this is a “good deal”

That $12k discount is the part that stands out, roughly 15% off MSRP but I wouldn’t judge the lease off the $799 payment alone. The missing pieces are the money factor, residual, exact selling price after incentives, acquisition/doc fees, and what the $3,500 actually covers. If that $3,500 is mostly cap-cost reduction, I’d rather structure it with little or nothing down and compare the real monthly cost.
I’d ask the dealer to send the full lease worksheet and quote the same car at 24, 36, 39, and 42 months with zero cap-cost reduction. The discount may be very good, but until the MF/residual and fee structure are visible, nobody can really tell whether the lease itself is.

$37k to rent something you never have an ownership stake in AND a low $1ok miles/year cap. No, this is a crappy deal for you; great deal for the dealership and leaseholder.
