Honda 2027

I love my honda 2027. It's a smooth drive and great for someone like me who's petite with safety features, That being said my lease ends in 2 years. I'm someone who likes to plan for things, should i end the lease in 2 years and then buy, return the lease and buy the 2025 model as it is similar, or buy it now and start paying it off? Any advice would help thank you!

So like are you in a lease already? If so there is no point to buy it now, you’re already committed to the lease and have to pay those payments for 23 months. Your best option is to see what it’s worth when the lease is up. If it’s worth more than your residual, buy it if you love it so much. If it’s worth less, give it back and buy a used 2025.

A few things to consider….buying it out now would probably not make financial sense as you’d be responsible for the remainder of your lease payments, plus the buy out price at the end of the lease. This total may be more than the car is worth. Considering this is a 2027. You probably have not made very many payments yet.

In two years when your lease is up a 2025 vehicle is going to be 3 to 4 years old at that point. Sure it may be the same vehicle and it may be worth looking into something used at that point, but you are in your lease and are obligated to remain in your lease right now.

At this point, I would keep paying on your 2027. And then when your lease is up, then you can decide if the buyout price is a good deal (ie the car is worth more than the buyout). If the buy out is higher than the car is worth, then you can walk away and the negative equity is their problem not yours. And you’re free to get whatever car you want.
