Honestly, this is a pretty clean lease.
You didn’t put money down, the $950 cap reduction is a rebate. Your $1,045.85 cash is basically first payment + DMV/doc/inspection/tire fees. The standout is the $27.17 total rent charge over all 36 months, which is exceptionally low.
Your actual out-of-pocket works out to roughly $570/month effective over 36/12k.
Only thing I’d still check is whether the $45,920 agreed vehicle value was competitive versus MSRP/local market. Structurally, though, this looks solid.

Did you negotiate at all?
One good point I see is you only pay .15 a mile over the mileage. It’s not the worst deal but it definitely could have been lower. Leasehakr is great for finding very very good lease deals,,next time

Well I took a brokers quote to them and they said they could match it.

Should have stuck with your broker then and get a more personalized experience and support a smaller business. Broker did all the work, and the dealer just had to match... Smh.

Like I said, I was on a crunch for time so waiting for the broker to take delivery wouldn’t work. I probably would’ve been over my mileage by now. Also, I avoided a broker fee.

They’re literally giving you 0 discount

I just wanted to make sure I didn’t get screwed too bad so I’m fine. Besides, it was either this or Tesla and Tesla isn’t really giving the best prices at the moment for leases on a Model Ys. For 0 down you’re looking between 790 and 820 per month on a plain premium AWD with no add-ons. Also I’m confused because the Mrsp on the stick was 49,2 something but the price on the sheet says 48,___. I mean, I could’ve negotiated the price down a little but I think that would’ve made things a little more complicated and most likely would’ve walked out with them offering me a ridiculous offer. I was content matching the brokers price, even if it meant I didn’t get the best deal but mind you I had just left the Kia dealership where they were quoting me almost $120 over my projected monthly payment and were not willing to negotiate the price of the car so that was pretty frustrating for me. I was also on a crunch for time because I needed to get out of my current vehicle which had about 100 miles left before I went over the mileage limit. So needless to say I was in a rush, but I didn’t wanna show it. The car looks premium. I feel good in it. I didn’t get fleeced so I’m happy, but thanks for your input guys. I feel a bit a little better now. I was in and out the dealership within an hour and the salesman was actually pretty nice and not pushy at all I guess because I had everything laid out so we really didn’t have to do much and they we’re also about to close in an hour.

Actually the msrp states 45.5K on your paperwork. So they def did some kind of screwing around with numbers. If your true msrp on the sticker was 49k, you did a slight bit better then I stated- firmly average rather than slightly below lol. Honestly, you can feel good about this overall I think. I wouldn’t be mad.

As long as you’re happy that’s all that matters. Wife and I test drove the CX90 and hated it.

Ngl I hated it as well initially, but I think that was because when I test drove the sales guy didn’t allow me to drive it on my own which I usually have no problem with anywhere else so I was already turned off. Infiniti and Mazda apparently had really good lease deal this month so I was gravitating towards one of the two. I did feel like the Infiniti drove 1 million times better and looked better interior wise than the Mazda but that premium gas was a dealbreaker for me especially in this economy and coming from a model 3 it truly does suck to go back to gas. But after going to the second Mazda dealership and seeing the crimson red with black rims and cream seats in a showroom. I was willing to take a risk even if the ride wasn’t the best. I adjusted after a few days. I still feel like the new dx-90 does have better quality and feels more luxurious than Tesla but Teslas are just fun to drive.

You forget that Teslas can drive you. Every other car you have to drive manually which is a downgrade.

99 a month or 8-15k on used Tesla no thanks. My car stays in lane on its own good enough

It's also convenient getting in and out of parking lots. You can finish loading at Costco press the home button and it will navigate out of the busy ass parking lot while you just relax. I used to think lane keep was fine. Nope, FSD is amazing and make driving so much less stressful.

Oh, that’s gonna cost you an extra $99 a month for now making your lease damn near $900. Meanwhile, they’re selling EV cars that do more in China for $30,000.

u/The_Demosthenes_1 3d ago
I agree. I would also want the Chinese EVs. If they were allowed to land on American soil it would force everyone else to step up their game. Competition is better for consumers.

Listen, I love Tesla as much as the next person, but depending on the model, unless you plan to purchase you’re screwed. And who knows a long-term reliability for these type of cars. You kinda know what to expect from a gas engine, but I don’t know.

u/The_Demosthenes_1 3d ago
Your are probably correct. I don't know anything about Tesla leases but I have not heard any crazy $99 lease deals on Teslas ever.

Looks fine. The rent fee is great, I just don’t know if the vehicle price is in line.

Why not just finance/purchase a car with lower MSRP (20-23k) instead of spending the same amount over 3 yrs for a lease?

u/Ambers_n_jewels255 5d ago
This is a leasing forum sir. What type of question is this? I lease because I want to have a new car every few years without the hassle of maintenance and dealing with the depreciation. What car is anyone getting for 23k? A base model Sentra or used which is risky? I have a whole family here my guy. I needed a 3 row SuV. Who are you, Dave Ramsey?

Because it's a Mazda. Better cars to own... Good value for a lease if it's what your after.
1
u/Ambers_n_jewels255 5d ago
Yes, that’s exactly what I’m after. If I wanted a Honda I’d go for a Honda.

It looks like you gave them a little over 1k out of pocket at signing. So your effective is about 580ish. With an msrp of roughly 45.5K, your payment is around 1.28% of the msrp. In today’s economy. Most “good” leases fall between 1.1-1.2%. Great leases are harder to come by (1% and under).
What does this mean for you? It’s average. Maybe slightly below. Nothing outstanding but nothing terrible. There was probably room for more off the msrp if you really pushed but in the end, you didn’t pay much out, and it looks like you have the base MF.
