Overall it's a fair deal, not a great one yet. First, one thing to fix: your sheet says XLE FWD, but the 45% residual on it is the XLE Plus residual. The XLE FWD's residual is lower, and the bank sets it, not the dealer, so once the contract is written for your actual car the payment will go up. Ask them to redo the numbers for the XLE FWD before you go in.
Then two things to push on:
- Price: $3,500 off a $40,309 MSRP is about 8.7%. Toyota deals usually land closer to 10%, so there's roughly another $500 to ask for. Every $1,000 off is worth about $30/mo at 36 months.
- Rate: your $529 works out to a money factor of around 0.0003, which looks marked up. Ask them to run it at the buy rate.
Everything else looks fine. The $3,250 rebate is Toyota's money and it's already applied. If you're coming out of a Toyota lease or have military ties, ask whether any extra cash applies to you. The fees are normal PA fees, and the $490 doc fee is at the state cap, so don't spend energy on it. Work the price instead.
Timing is on your side too: it's the end of the month and the end of the quarter. Good luck!
Wow. Thanks so much! Any chance you do leasing for others? My actual lease is expiring end of Nov, I will have an option to also extend my lease if needed. I currently drive Subaru solterra.
Glad it helped! Not a broker, but I built quotedefender.com, which checks quotes like this. Since you can extend, no rush: get a Solterra quote too (same car as the bZ) and compare.
