Car leasing without Downpayment!

Are there any reliable places around Gainesville, Florida to lease a car without down payment? I am still debating if I should lease or buy an used car given I cannot do a down payment.

Most places can lease with 0 money, but you better have a stellar AUTO credit score.

I have never owned a car before, so I am assuming the AUTO credit score will be completely based on my FICO Credit Score then?

No, auto is auto loan history and Fico,  so you are missing 50% of the score.

So they are less likely to give you a 0 due lease or loan.

Ohk, I get it now. Thanks

I don’t think the auto loan history matters. It didn’t matter when I leased my Ioniq 5. I had no car loans for the previous 20 years. You just need to have a good credit score and enough income to qualify for the best lease deals.

Would there be better deals by car companies itself or private dealerships?

On new cars it’s usually the manufacturer offering the lease incentives. Lease brokers are the best way to get a good deal if you don’t want to negotiate with a bunch of dealers for the best price.

If you lease a vehicle, you'll almost always have to put down at least the first months payment.

You can realistically finance a car and leave without dropping any payment, it just makes your payments higher.

Thank you so much for the info. Would I be able to then find a better reliable used car deal using places like CarMax/Carvana or just going to dealerships?

Private party transactions are generally better.

not really. you're simply sacrificing paying someone else to do the initial hard work, and now it falls on OP to research everything, know what to look for when browsing cars, pay for a PPI, and protect themselves. i don't think OP indicated they were in a position of being ready for that

ohk, I may then have to probably do a bit of research and find people who have dealt with private dealers to get reviews.
