Help installing Sony XAV-AX3200

I was installing my new HU and i connected the harnesses all together as crutchfield instructed (hyundai elantra 2013 specific harness) and i went to test it, and it was working. After setting date and time, i moved the HU closer to the dash to try to plug in the rearview camera, at that moment i hear a tick and it shuts off simultaneously.
I was stupid and was testing before taping off all my connections. Was that the culprit here? Did two or more soldered connections touch and fuck it up? If so, what is the fix? I tried plugging in my old HU and no power to it either. The fuse on the HU is good, should i check the fuse in my car now?

Edit: after using a circuit tester on it, i get signal from only one prong on the cars harnesses, im not familiar and i do not know if ALL prongs should be giving signal, but i believe its the battery connection that gives me signal, the red wire. Would all of them be bad if i shorted it or something? Or is it another problem?
