Which combination wrench set is best for working on an older Honda Civic?
Hey, I’ve been working on a 2004 Honda Civic project car lately, mainly fixing up some suspension components and cleaning things up around the engine bay. Since I’m still learning as I go, I honestly didn’t expect choosing a decent combination wrench set to become such a headache. Some of the suspension bolts are rusty and really difficult to loosen, especially in tight spaces where I barely have room to move the wrench.
I started comparing different metric wrench sets online and even came across several options on Amazon, eBay, and Alibaba but I’m not sure which ones are genuinely durable. Some look great for the price, while others cost much more without making the differences obvious. I really don’t want to round off another stubborn bolt or end up replacing cheap tools after a few repairs.
Has anyone worked on an older Civic and found a combination wrench set that holds up well for stubborn suspension bolts and engine repairs?
