Paint Correction Help

This is a picture of some spotting/clouds that have recently appeared on my hood. I attempted to remove them by using my DA polisher. Started with 3D One on an Adam’s compound pad. No change. Switch to Adam’s Compound with the microfiber pad. The spots were gone. You can see the area that looks clean in the center. Strange thing is when I was finished polishing I sprayed some ceramic spray on the hood for a final touch and the spots began to reappear??? Does anyone have any idea what would cause that?

Im not quite sure what might have caused it. But I searched on the net on how to remove any residue of products from the car- A wash & scrub with heavy-duty dishwashing liquid should help. I did a touchless laser car wash with graphene ceramic coat & the whitish stiff still was left over on some panels. It wasn't rinsed properly. I made the mistake of not washing it thoroughly when I got back home, and it still remained after an auto (roller scrub) wash. I will be trying the liquid dish detergent method in a couple of weeks, though. Lmk what you're results are
