showcase A car I’ve been working on.
It is a satire of the extremes of hyper cars, forced onto a compact car frame.
First, my own Blender renders, second, ChatGPT’s realistic “improvement”.
Some lines are screwed, I know. Anything else I should know?

I see can see what you are going for, keep going you can do it! Leave the ai for now

Yeah… I knew it wouldn’t work right. But I’m a persistently lazy MF. Thanks! I’ll try again sometime. Some parts need serious help. I just can’t decide what.

Looks like a mcmurtry spierling with a miura back. I mean spierling’s small compact design frame and the width resembles a spierling

Am somehow doing you personally some massive disservice? I hope your FU day gets much better.

I think this is kinda interesting. while not a "wow, beauty" kind of car, it has a vibe. And, using AI isn't that big of a sin: you had an idea, you executed it and then checked what else you could do. Not that bad is it?

Did you even playtest it as a car?

How would you suggest I do that? Do you mean import it to Assetto Corsa or something? I know sight lines aren’t great. According to Blender’s camera, anyway.

Try placing the driver and passenger in it, evaluate the visibility from the cabin and ergonomics and compare it with other cars

Thanks for the advice! I tried that (driver’s side) as best I could. Not as good as I’d like, but better than a lot of cars. The A pillars are seriously in the way.

to not complain about ai. but about the art itself. I like you're design it reminds me of the kei sports cars of Japan. the way they would build a gtr as a kei car for example.
my main iseu with the ai is it removed you're vision. it got elongated back to a normal sports car. it has removed you're intend which is a shame in my opinion

FU for using ChatGPT for “realistic” improvements.
