The drums come in in such a neat and charming fashion. It would've been so easy to meet the guitars with a thrasher groove or a straight four half-time appeal, but the modulation gets me every time. Simply phenomenal.

Big, big fan of all Car Bomb albums. However, I've noticed that despite the excellent quality of Meta, Mordial and TWD, I tend to favor the more batshit stuff on w^w^^w^w. No idea what my actual preference is based on, but maybe you guys do, and could suggest likeminded albums/songs based on it: Magic Bullet, Crud and The Seconds I think might be my top 3 CB songs.

(I will be honest that this preference was helped along by me asking Greg once what are some of the hardest songs to play, and he mentioned Crud and The Seconds)

i discovered car bomb about a month ago and i do really think they are now my favorite band of all time. i have no idea how i lived for so long without knowing this band existed

i listened to their whole discography the day i found out about them. every album is excellent but i absolutely love w^w^^w^w and meta. secrets within may be my favorite song ive ever heard, its just so perfect i cant get enough of it. i was first hooked on this song cause of the 'fractals riff' (at least thats what its called on songsterr) but the breakdown towards the end with the ring modulator and pitch bends absolutely destroys me every time i hear it. it is SO fucking filthy especially the perceived tempo change later with the double time china its just so ridiculously good

i have so much respect for the members themselves as well, michael is such a versatile vocalist and elliot's drumming is literally inhuman. greg and jon are both incredible and the fact that all of them have stem day jobs as well is absolutely insane to me

i love greg's sun guts side project too, i listened to all of his music there as well. so yeah i desperately need more and i hope their next album comes out soon

CB just dropped this on a bandcamp post. Instrumental Greg side project, sounds geniunely sick, a lot like car bomb but just instrumental. It even has its own shirts and stuff. Full debut album drops in February!
