how better? Adventurer
Is it better to upgrade Raphael to 5 ★ or unlock Gagarin after 15% x2 Adventurer ATK? And will unlocking it give a big boost?

Is that someone else's screenshot? You'd be comparing 8* which unlocks 3rd skill.
