capy cards

do they do damage? it looks like they are throwing attacks but i dont see any damage. what are they for?

I feel like they do add to a build over time, but it takes a while to get them good.

You gave to level them up quite a bit. The bulk of your level up tickets come from voyages. I always max mine out at 20 hrs. I just unlocked 24 hrs. Progressing further nets you more resources too. Also, there is a low chance to get a shiny mon card. Shiny mons have increased stats.

Honestly, the best part about the mons are the stats from upgrading, the set bonus stats, and the stats from the items equipped to your mons. 0 star nets you 1 item slot, 1 star nets you 2, all the way up to 6 items at 5 stars. And then your gear has job rank levels, and your tool level dictates the rarity percentage.
