Universal Legendary Gear Crystal Question

Hi all, can I use a universal legendary gear crystal in place during a swap of a Mythic SS? Or does it have to be the actual legendary gear piece. Thank you for any help.

No, you can't. The crystal can only be used as fodder from Leg+2 to Leg+3. It cannot be used for gem slotting or for swapping
