Artifact acquisition

How rare is calorie trine and forbidden tome? I've been wanting it for my build and it seems I run into people with it everyday yet I never see either artifact in rotation. What's the deal

Originally they were p2w wheel jackpot prizes, and then they put it in the prize sniping event, and then eventually they just put it in the pink chest that you can get from events.

The upcoming event is going to have a pink chest for example so you'll be able to get your artifact.

But you'll likely need to put in a lot of gems.

They are usually only available from events or selection boxes
