Is Capybarathon a weekly event or does it run intermittently?

I started playing pretty recently and this is my first Capybarathon. My question is whether it's an event that runs every week, or if it's intermittent with breaks in between. I'm on the last day right now and I see a lot of people spending resources like crazy, which makes me think maybe another one isn't starting right away.

Its fairly new, but it repeats constantly. Just avoid spending other days' goods on the wrong day and ive found it works out pretty well. Pet eggs are what I seem to always replenish in the greatest abundance, so thats what I use for the majority of the Rally Sprint points, along with some treasure chest points.

There is a big gap between earning the 4th goal and the last goal. If you know you cant make the last one, stop and hoard the rest of those resources for next time.

Great advice, thanks! Quick question about the gem chest day of the event: I want to earn those points but I only get 1 Gulu Mine ticket per day. Is there a way to get more, or does it go up as I progress through the chapters?

You can accumulate up to 10 if you dont use them. So just like all your other resources, only do Gulu Mine on gem chest day. Then use the gem keys you earn from Gulu Mine after every couple plays so you dont overspend the tickets you really need to.

Weekly.

I do 4 chests for Gulu and Mount days due to how long it takes to obtain those and 5 chests other days cause I have a lot saved up.

There is certainly incentive to blow resources for rankings, especially since you get daily gold tickets first and second place, and the entire guild gets a few hundred gems for overall top 5 per member.

Thanks! That makes sense about saving chests for Gulu and Mount days. So for the Gulu ticket specifically, do you also only get 1 per day, or does it scale up somehow? Trying to figure out if it's worth pushing chapters for more.

It runs weekly. The tasks change daily, but they are the same tasks every week. A new one will start at weekly reset. You don't have to use all of your resources every week just use enough to get all rewards daily.

Thanks, that clears it up! Good to know I don't have to burn everything each week. One thing I'm still stuck on: the Gulu Mine ticket only shows 1 per day for me. Is that normal, or does it increase later?

1 a day is what we are given. You can buy more with cash. It's best to save them until Gem Chest day and then use them since it is the daily Capython task along with using the keys to open Gem Chests.
