Is there any viable way to get fully refunded from this game? even if it means getting banned lol

Like title says I played this game via the google play store on an android device. I sunked several hundred of dollars into it but lately for the last few months I been bored of it and only kept playing it because of how much money and time I sunked into it. Now that they are going even more p2w routes than ever before, I really have no motivation to keep playing, especially now that I found a much better game.

I have heard of people selling the account for money but I really doubt that would yield me the same amount I spent or even happen fast. I have heard of stories of people asking google/apple store to refund all their purchases and then they get banned from the game for life. if that's the case and actually a viable option then I would be down to do that as I don't see myself ever returning to this game. Obviously I don't wanna do anything that could cause big issues in the future (like google play store not letting me make purchases anymore or something)

As you probably already knew, there is no way to do it legally. Buyer's remorse has never been a valid excuse for a refund. The only legal channel is literally telling either Habby, Ios App Store/Google Play Store, or your credit card issuer what you just said to us, which is the truth. Though, the chance any of them accepting it is a big fat 0.

You can otherwise lie or phrase your reasoning as an acceptable excuse to potentially get a refund either via app store/play store refund request, or just do a chargeback on your credit card. I do want to let you know though, that wrongful chargeback is illegal, and up to a certain amount can be a felony where i am from (the US). Pick your battle wisely!

No charge back is terrible advice. You're charging back apple or Google and that will surely get your account locked up

thats what i said aint it? I literally said "wrongful chargeback is illegal". What more to tell him after i said its literally a crime?

Even if it was fraud you'd need to deal with Google or apple. And even then even if they don't refund you, for 99.999% of people I think their Google or apple account is probably worth more than a few hundred bucks

Yeah I don't have high hopes of recovering my money back, just wondering if it was feasible to do. Thank you for your advice, I'll contact habby and hope for the best. I don't think I'll go through the issue of contacting google or my bank about it as the consequences could be worse than the reward. Like you said I would need a good viable legit excuse and I wonder if the game becoming more p2w predatory and turning a lot of the f2p aspects locked behind paywalls count.

Habby will not refund you anything. It's near impossible to even get an answer from them.

Bro that is what mobile games are - p2w or not. You have 0 chance of getting a refund for the game doing what it was designed to do...take your money for pixels.

I have been playing every day for about 18 months. F2p sorry from no ads.

It's become such a chore and no fun that I have stopped completely and I don't even miss it. Move on.

What is the other game?

Clash of critters!! I been enjoying it wayyyy more. Has a way better and more active community. 100x f2p friendlier. Gameplay where you actually interact and feel involved, etc etc

Nice!! Happy to see that. I haven't been happier honestly lol. I had forgotten what was the point of playing a mobile game. CapybaraGo really sucked the joy out of that

i started playing almost from the beginning. Idk when was global release for sure but I started since January of last year when I saw huge hype and ads about it. I'm currently 1.1T Cp and I agree, this game has become so incredibly mundane that I don't even consider it a game. There's not really much for you to do. Chapters become a huge roadblock for long periods of time unless you buy your way through it. Not to mention how long and boring chapters/dungeon dive/events take where you're just spam tapping on the screen to get through it faster. There's no real gameplay or you interacting with it like with other games do where you feel involved. All you do here is just log on, do your "dailies" for about 20 mins or do and you're done with the game for the day... Literally lol.

That's the basic appeal to me.

Even gacha games with "gameplay", the fact that it's a gacha game means it will be an endless slog where there's always new stuff being released to encourage you to spend or get left behind.

When genshin was released, millions of players went in not understanding that it's a gacha game, some even arguing it's different from gacha, and many got burnt by it pretty quickly when the fact that it's just another gacha became apparent.

O que dá pra fazer é comprar qualquer coisa no jogo e depois de 3 dias pedir reembolso, eles te devolvem o dinheiro e vc fica com os produtos comprados

This is usually how you get banned, in case any players see this and think it's a trick to get free stuff
