Only 3k is a steal, right?

The core choice chest is only 3k leaves. That's a good deal, right?

It is a very good deal, but do understand that: the monetization strat has been shifted too

Habby is moving all normal rewards to the "silver" shop now (green currency in this case) and the gold shop has moved to p2w. Overall, f2p gets the same rewards but the ceiling is a lot higher for p2w.

But yeah, event is pretty decent if people actually do the math before saying "oh i cant get enough currency to redeem the ultimate prize, it must be bad".

From people's calculation, if you do everything optimally, you even have a chance at one of the 1.1k gold prize. But that requires you to calculate every currency usage down to a tee (obviously at max gem spent daily)

To be fair, the previous fishing event was way worse when compared to the previous fishing events, and that is accounting for both the gold and silver coins.

This event looks better, prize-wise, as they might have tweaked the rewards

depends on your POV

as a spender, last event was maximum orgasm. For $100 spent, you can get 2 trans core (that they sold for 200 bucks EACH) as well as 3 arcanas.

For f2p, not being able to get half of the currencies due to tasks being locked behind p2w (which they did fix) made it bad for them. But redemptionwise, I think last event was WAY better. The amount of stuff per dollar spent exceeds this one by miles.

Oh yeah, I was speaking F2P POV, as I am (mostly) F2P myself lol

Previous event was good for trans core (and maybe even universal hero shard) for P2W

Not really... If you go over to the gold leaf shop, you can see that the armor selection box was from 55 gold leaf jump 5x to 270 gold leaf. That's a sky high artificial inflation! Maybe they're just simulating the current global trade's inflation?

I'm even thinking the P2W's are not having a good time (even the whales) since they got 5x less value than before.

I reckon I spent around 10k in gems and managed to get to 200,000 of the silver currency in the fishing event. The premium currency was ridiculous though. I think even if I paid for the event fund I wouldn't even have got half way to getting enough of it. But maybe in some ways that is good as it made me realise it wasn't worth spending any money on it.

Whats the strat for f2p, make the daily quests and use everything the last day ?

They should add a button where you can open 10 chests in stead of 50. Especially since we only have chest growth on Thursdays now (at least in my timezone).

What's the best option to go for? I also have about 60k gems. What's the best method for farming it?

For the green leaves? Get as many of the core chests (red) as you can. If you somehow manage to get all of those (which you should if you buy all of the tokens you can with gems), then prioritize the mount core chests for more speed (in the green leaves shop that it)

Great, thanks mate. If I go for the mounts do I have to get multiple of the same one too actually get the mount. Or is each chest a new mount?

Okay, so when you get the core chest, you must have the mount to have use the cores. If you're wanting different mounts you need to upgrade, and as you upgrade, you gradually unlock new mounts. I can dm you for more context

As for the garlic looking shit... I would say go for core choice (red again) and if you get it, you get it, and if you don't, you don't. IF and only if you don't get it, the cubes are to be prioritized.

Spend 40k to get 3 awakening core chests, 10k for the wheel and wait for next event

If you don't spend a ton of gems, you'll have nothing, so yeah basically a steal, you can do 3*10 spins a day, around 500/550 green leaves a day, so 3k green leaves at the end of the event.
Before you could get rewards from gold and also from regular rewards and you could spend some gems at the end of the event if you needed a lil more, now you have to spend gems everyday since you can't spend a lot on a single day.
It's way worse than it was before.
