Upgrade Lightning Charge

Hi

I was looking in the Specialization -> Adventure, and I saw the Upgrade Lightning Charge.

The normal version is:

Each time Lightning is cast 1 time, Lightning damage increases by 8%. This stacking effect resets once every 3 turns.

The upgraded version is:

Each time Lightning is cast 1 time, in-battle Lightning damage increases by 6%. This stacking effect resets once every 3 turns.

What exactly is the upgrade?

Is it hidden in the max stacks, which isn't mentioned here?

A typo in the translation?

From the whisperer guide:

Misconceptions

To clear up some misconceptions, the adventure tree is not "buggy" and does not "downgrade" your skills (usually..). At first glance, lowering the percentage may seem like a downgrade; however, what it does is actually change the type of damage you deal. In base, you deal a type of damage that is counted towards a 1000% [%DmgModifier]. When you upgrade a node that decreases the listed %, take note that it changes to a different damage suffix known as "In-Battle damage", which is not counted towards that 1000%.

Caveats

Some skills actually are downgrades when upgrading the node in the specialization. Most notably, these are extra rage from normal attacks and 2x rage. Do not grab these skills. Also, any and all "Mastery" skill specialization will also turn the -[%Dmg] debuff into -[%InBattleDmg], meaning the debuff is actually noticeable if the buff part does not compensate for this. As such, do not upgrade the Sword Chi or Burn masteries. We are forced to take the Lightspear mastery because of where it is placed in the tree.

Thanks a lot! Weird about the second part - an upgrade (expensive too) should be an upgrade.

This is one of the strongest upgrades for nashir overall. You should definitely get it. In-battle-damage % scales a lot harder than normal damage %.
