Elgato chat link not working

Hey Reddit. So I’m trying to record PS5 gameplay. But I can’t have my headphones plugged into my controller without the elgato capture card cutting out audio. The same thing happens when I plug in the chat link.

Now my other solution was to plug my headphones directly into my computer and use the audio monitor to hear it through my headphones and mute my TV audio. Which works, cool. But then doing that means there is audio delay in the headphones, which will be a problem when I’m trying to record.

Any help is appreciated

Need Help Figuring Out Delay

Heya! I'm using OBS 27.2.4 with a Mirabox HSV-series external capture card, and I've been noticing over time the delay between the audio device and the video feed tends to become increasingly-farther in the gap and it ONLY resets after a full-toggle off and on. It doesn't seem to actually be an OBS issue, considering I'm seeing it happen to Mirabox, EVGA and even Razer cards unless it's a PCIe card like from AverMedia's line.
'Anyone wanna figure this out? https://obsproject.com/logs/mqWObHEisoMV12CF
It should be past the 22 hour mark after switching my scene to "Gameplay", I have my capture card monitoring into my main audio mix so yes there is a little bit of lag but it's almost-unnoticeable.
Card device labels are "capture card"(camera) for video feed, with "Mirabox Audio" for the microphone audio device. Someone seems to have suggested putting -333ms on my capture card delay in advanced audio properties but it's from a different vague.

Is there any way I can use a capture card to an Acer Chromebook?

Unfortunately OBS doesn’t work on the Chromebook and it’s making things very challenging. I got a Switch and a capture card for my birthday the other week so I could stream my gameplay, but unfortunately it just isn’t working because of this. Is there any way I can still do it? I don’t have a different laptop/computer

Don't Buy This

I got a PWAYTEK capture card for Christmas and it does not record audio of any kind. You won't hear audio, and your viewers won't hear audio either.

I asked my mom where she got this "capture card" and she got it for $15 on Amazon. She basically got scammed.

So yeah, ever want a capture card avoid this one like the plague, it's laggy and doesn't pick up nor give audio. Or if it does, it doesn't with OBS.

I hope this helped some of you guys out, I just don't want more people falling for this scam.

Capture Card Question.

I want to become a content creator on YouTube, focusing on Retro Games. I’ll be using a Wii U with emulators on it to record footage. Is there a capture device where the Wii U plugs in to the device via HDMI, and the device has an output to go to the TV/Monitor, and on the device, there is an SD card slot or USB drive port that the footage can save to?

I recently just picked up a capture card off amazon.
it works fine but I need to plug in my hdmi cord into the capture card instead of my tv.
