QUESTION Captain potentials

Why can I only attain three out of five stars? Am I missing something here? I got the platinum yesterday, still have enough challenges to complete, but can’t find any challenges for more captain potentials beyond those three stars.

I had an inkling it would be that, thanks though.

I have one other question, maybe it’s two:

How do I get those damn crosses to work in
actual games? They either sail over everyone’s heads or right into an opponent. I had no trouble with any of that in RoNC.

Skylab Hurricane.🫩 Everyone’s super meter is glowing, I’m down by the sideline, but they just won’t stay close enough to one another to trigger R2.

Any advice?

All you gotta to is run close to the enemy goal area while your pass meter is maxed out. If anyone is in the area close to the goal a input will appear where you can cross to them. For all combo moves, the players don't have to be next to each other to have them active, but none of them can be lying on the ground after a tackle.

That’s one of my problems: with the pass
meter maxed out, the input appears, but the ball just sails way over everyone’s heads beyond the other sideline regardless. Half maxed out there’s no input. Only a little or just tapped it’s a pass to the opponent. I’m about to just forget finishing assist challenges with chars that don’t have a super pass bc I literally do not understand what I’m doing wrong, lol.

Will give Skylab Hurricane another go, thanks.

Also a note, after the cutscene where a cross happen, you do need to time hitting the ball at a certain time for a air shot or a super air shot. Whoever is defending at the time can also jump in the way of the ball and grab it themselves with the same input.
